Hey Hey...
I started a blog a while ago, however, that one wasn't available to the public...whatever. So, here it is...primarily I am doing this for friends to read, but also for my self because I love to write.
In the past 3 months, things in my life have almost transformed to a place I never thought they would be. A lot of this has to do with Derrick, boyfriend of almost 3 years, great guy, hilarious, I love him to death!
...It makes me smile everytime I think of him, etc. Another part of this is recently graduating, getting a 'big-girl' job (which I absolutely love) and starting to look for apartments, which means moving out of my parents' surburbian home. Finally, Derrick and I will be living together, most likely within the city, which will be amazing because I work in the dead center of the Central West End. Derrick works in Chesterfield, so he will be driving a little further, but he says, "As long as you're happy sweetheart" ha ha ha ha
So...I just started my job as the Assistant to The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis. The executive director is 26...yeah. Least to say, we have a lot of fun! We are a brand new not-for-profit...plain and simple CHESS CLUB! At the moment, I am learning.
Lately, I have been busy with traveling to some part of Missouri every weekend. Springfield, float trips, Ste.Gen, and everywhere else; we are really looking forward to having a stay-at-home weekend coming up and looking at apartments. Another thing that is keeping me excited and busy is my friend and sorority sister Amy is having a little boy in October! Lo and I have been talking about all the shower details which will be held at my parents house in September. I LOVE planning events, esp. for my friends!
