Coming.Home

Get the title?

Anyway, this past weekend was fulfilling, sad at times, memories, and, well...an awesome time. When I say fulfilling, I mean I don't need to go to Cape for a while, I had my fill. Sad because of the conversations I had with people I had not seen in months. Whether they are older or younger, I still listened to every word they said and thought about it later. Memories because of the thoughts everything brought back to me. How we talked about previous homecomings and how fun they were. And, lastly, an awesome time...Homecomings are so much fun. You get to see people you don't always get to see, and frankly, it's nice to have a different atmosphere.

This homecoming I spent the majority of my time inside the Pladium. Go figure. I'm a Pladium girl at heart. Always have been. Always will be. If I wasn't inside Pladium, I was sitting indian-style outside of it with Dan. (If you haven't already, check out the facebook photo album of HOMECOMING DAN. Hilarious.

Everyone was very excited about Derrick and I's engagement. It's so fun to talk about etc. This week already I feel buried! Hopefully my cousin Cory is coming to stay with Derrick and I this Wednesday evening before he heads back to the army. However, I am off work on Friday due to HALLOWEEN :) Since I work in the Central West End, things get crazy down here!

Derrick decided to hunt this past weekend, so on Sunday him and Matt picked me up and we drove to Poplar Bluff to see his grandma. She was sick for a little while but is feeling much better :) The drive home was so long..............................................

That's all I got folks...so get all your winter clothes out because it is getting chilly outside!

STAY WARM SAINT LOUIS!
