I left work a little early yesterday to pick Beetle up and take her to Chesterfield where I met my Dad. (My parents are watching her this weekend while we go to Springfield.) My mom also met me to do dinner and a little bit of shopping. To tell you the truth, I'm not a big mall person. It's nice to go sometimes, but I'm more of a stand-alone type of shop girl. So...me and my mom had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I love the atmosphere and look of that place. We had lettuce wraps, a salad, and drinks!... and it was really good. Then we shopped around, I got myself another Steeler tshirt for this Sunday's game, and then I went into Gap Kids to pick up Eva Kay a birthday present. I got her the cutest navy blue sailor type jacket and a red and white striped shirt to go underneath. It is so adorable!
We didn't stay at the mall much longer. I was going to meet Derrick in Clayton for drinks but he wanted to leave so we decided we would just go to a bar by our house. However, on the way, I had a thought to stop my McNamera's house because I knew there would be people over there, and...I was right! I could hear Otto screaming from outside the house so I knew I was in for a good time. I think I scared them a little bit because I went through the back door knocking really hard, so when I popped my head out Mac starting screaming; I think he was a little excited because I haven't seen him in a while! It was good catching up with them, Derrick came over too. Later we went home and made a little snack and watched Grey's. I can't ever miss that show.
This weekend is going to be pretty low-key, which is going to be awesome. We're celebrating Eva Kay's birthday and just hanging out with the fam! However, on Sunday, that's when things are getting serious...Steeler country is going to be in an UPROAR!
