Can you BELIEVE it's March?!

Springtime is such a great time of the year! People are iching to get outside, get the winter out of the house, spring cleaning, and putting all your winter clothes away! Lately, all I have wanted to do is be outside and well...trying to be active...

The weekend was relaxing and very productive! Friday night consisted of catching up with an old friend, Ashleigh, at Sasha's on Shaw (a cute little wine bar) and then going over to Julie's, and ended up playing 'The Office Game.' I was really excited about Saturday because Julie and I had made plans to go walking. And that is exactly what we did! I slept in until about 11 :) did some cleaning, and then went for a nice long walk with Julie and Beetle Bailey in Tower Grove Park! It was great...the weather was perfect and so was the catching up. Julie and I used to walk ALL THE TIME at school, and now we are both so busy :( After walking we went to Starbucks and sat outside, had frappacinos and chatted it up!

Saturday evening I headed out to my parents' house for more sitting outside and cocktails. There's nothing better than having a glass of wine or a few beers with your parents! Thankfully, I fell a sleep early, I needed a good night's sleep. Sunday morning, my mom and I went to Wal-Mart (it's REALLY hard to find a good Wal-Mart in the city) got my oil changed and tires rotated and did some shopping. Nothing too exciting. Later that day, my grandmother came over and the three of us looked at wedding invitations and rolled silverwear for my brother's graduation party! It was a pretty low-key weekend because Derrick went to Dexter with his Dad. I was excited to come home to see Derrick though, he has been gone the last 2 weekends! He had the guys over Sunday to watch the basketball games, and luckily when I got home, Derrick, Curt, and I went to Ted Drew's in Curt's new two-door Infiniti!!

After work today, I asked Derrick if he wanted to go for a long walk with me and Beetle and he surprisely said 'YES!' We drove over to Tower Grove and walked for over an hour, and it felt good! There were so many people out, the weather again, was perfect! I needed a little one on one time with my honey! We were so hungry afterwards we went to Subway and took advantage of the $5 footlongs! It was a great start to the week!
