5 Days, 4 Nights

Hola! This past week was a lot longer than the rest, I must say. Very FUN!!...but VERY long, and thankfully, productive.

It really started on Tuesday with the Cards game, (which you read about in my last post.) Wednesday started out a little rough just because I was so tired and just wanting to be at HOME. But, Derrick and I told his friends we would go to Blueberry Hill to watch a band they really like called Stoney Larue. I'm not really sure if that was the lead singers name, or the band?!?! So...after work I headed to Delmar where I met up with Derrick, Jimmy, and Carl for dinner. It was good, but took probably an hour, oh well, no biggie. Derrick and I thought the first two bands were great, and Stoney Larue was okay, even though we probably didn't get the full experience because we only stayed for two songs :( I was about to fall a sleep in my chair, I really wish I could have been more fun!!

--- THURSDAY --- DATE NIGHT --- WITH JULIE & ERIC --- SUSHI --- & MY DRESS ---

It rained all day on Thursday. I wanted so badly to be at home in bed, watching movies, etc. Thanks to my amazing boss, he surprised me and let me leave after a meeting at 3pm! Weirdly enough, my Mom was in the same area, so we went to the Galleria to look for mother-of-the-bride dresses for her. We didn't have any luck there, so we went across the street to Demetrios, for 2 reasons. 1. My mom was going to try on dresses there, and 2. MY WEDDING DRESS CAME IN AND I COULDN'T WAIT TO TRY IT ON! I have to say, it's perfect. Except the fact they apparently make all the dresses around 5'8 height, well I am a short thing at 5'2. I will have to get it altered. The detail is wonderful, it's exactly what I have always wanted. I felt great in it, except I really need to work my back out!!! Anyway, that was a great rainy afternoon.

Then I headed back over to the CWE, to meet Derrick, Eric, and Julie at the Drunken Fish! We had drinks and awesome sushi! I really am becoming a fan of their sushi. The four of us had such a nice time, relaxing, and laid back. We came home and hit the sack!

GOOD FRIDAY FUN --- I left work around 3:30 on Friday afternoon. I was debating on whether or not to go home or go over to Clayton to meet up with Derrick, Gavan, Jimmy, and Annie at Barristers. (They all got to leave work at 1pm!!) Of course, I ended up going to Clayton ;) Go Figure. We moved over to KilKenny's, where the two Stephanie's met up and we all ended up playing quarters in our booth for 2 hours! It was so fun, I think the rest of the bar was annoyed with us though. Oh well! We had a good time.

This Saturday has been great so far. It is such a great day, I'm a little jealous Derrick is at the Cards game right now. However, I need to take a personal day. Even though it is beautiful, I rented three movies and I'm also going to catch up on my reading of a Cosmo I bought two weeks ago! Julie and I also went to Tower Grove and had a nice long walk. I'm going to enjoy the rest of this quiet day and get ready for Easter tomorrow ;0)
