My 1st Bridal Shower!
Saturday was my first bridal shower! My mom's good friend Peggy and her daughter-in-law threw it for me! It was really nice because all my mom's friends were there including my grandmother and Sandy came up from Ste.Gen too :)
Peggy is a very creative person...she made everyone there own wine glass that they got to take home! She also included my colors really well too, with the yellow and purple. The glasses each had a personalized 'S' on them which works out perfectly because of Smith and Stewart! The shower was a sit down luncheon. We had fresh fruit, and a great salad with grilled chicken noodles! My mom's friend Susan, said a blessing before we started eating which had everyone at the table crying!

The above picture is me, Lauren (middle), and Natalie! Natalie is five months pregnant and looks great! Baby Carson will be here in September! Lauren did such a great job with the shower! Lauren put together a personalized video of Derrick and I with pictures from when we were little up until now, so we watched that after lunch.
The cupcakes were a hit!...and AMAZING! You can't really tell but the icing is a light yellow. Peg also had chocolate covered strawberries that were great!
I got a lot of great gifts. Above, Peggy and Lauren made this for us! When I was opening it I thought is was just a picture frame, until I looked extra close and it said 'Stewart.' Lauren's younger sister took all the pictures. Some were tools, things outside, etc. It is awesome and I can't wait to hang it in our house that we don't have yet! (That's another project, coming soon!)Thank you everyone, I had a wonderful time!!!
