a great spring weekend!

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous since Thursday evening! After work I met Julie and Eric for sushi and drinks. We then headed over to Brennan's to sit outside and have a couple beers. I could have sat outside all night. I was pretty tired on Friday from Thursday night, so I decided to stay in and get some wedding details hammered out. (Derrick went turkey hunting in Ste.Gen, so it was a good time to get it done.) Next thing I knew it was 1am and I was working diligently on the wedding program, itinerary, and ceremony music!

I slept in Saturday morning, went to the gym, had awesome workout!, came home and cleaned a little and decided to watch my brother off to his senior PROM! Below is a picture of the five of us! My Mom, Dad, Branden, and his long-time girlfriend Nhi! Nhi's dress was amazing, isn't the color great?!
All the kids went down to Main Street in Sainte Charles to take pictures. Afterwards, my parents and I walked over to Trailhead for a few delicious Trailhead beers...I got the rasberry and, as always, was soooo good. We ended up sitting outside on the front porch when we got home because the weather was perfect :)

For Christmas, I got my Gram and myself tickets to see 'HAIRSPRAY' at The Fox Theatre! So, today, that is what we did!
The show was so great, very entertaining, and my Gram had a great time! I love doing things with just the two of us. We both really enjoy live shows. I can't wait to see R.E.N.T. at the Fox in June!
