I spent the weekend being productive and making sure I got a lot of relaxation. This was my last weekend as a single lady!!! (Well, you know what I mean!) On Friday, my parents and grandmother came down to my neck of the woods to check out our new house and grab some dinner. My parents loved the house, and immediately my mom and I started talking kitchen colors. Saturday came early with a trip to the gym. I also got lots of honeymoon shopping in at West County mall! I was rather tired when I got home so I ordered "Confessions of a Shopoholic" and went to bed. (Derrick made a trip to Cape Girardeau, for the Sig Tau Alumni golf tournament, I always get so much done when he is gone :)
Sunday morning I spend getting my apartment back in order, getting things together to take out to my parents for the rehearsal dinner Thursday night. I also had some laundry to do...(a. one reason I am so excited about my new house, washer and dryer :) I finally got my car packed and off Beetle and I went. I was going to go to the pool and layout, but settled for two new episodes of Entourage, which I have missed so much :(
Derrick finally made it home and so did I. I got a lot of things done at my parents, which is good because it took a lot of my plate for Thursday and the big weekend to come! This evening was beautiful, so I decided to take a long power walk. Then, as usual, Derrick and I had our Sunday night ritual of ICECREAM! I really shouldn't have after my walk, but oh well, I'm getting married on Saturday, I don't care. Life is so good right now, and I am so happy :)
Wednesday is my last day at work and I cannot wait to take 7 days off!!! It is going to be so nice. Having a short week of work a head of me is awesome, and then the fun begins!!!
