This weekend was a blast! I never 'want' or feel the 'need' to mention work on my personal blog, but I must tell you about one great event Saturday night! The Dada Ball took place Saturday evening and it was awesome. We got tickets from my boss who was one of the event chairs. The theme was 'Dada Rocks with Decades.' It was held at the Contemporary on Washington Blvd. This was definitely an A-list event, and I say that because one of my favs, Chloe Sevingy was there! The fashion show was amazing, along with the dancing, and atmosphere. I wish Derrick and I had gotten a picture together at the house before we left but didn't get a chance, but he did take one of me! We did get one on the red carpet, so when I get that one, I will post! Many people were dressed in beautiful vintage clothing, so it fun looking at everyone. Derrick really enjoyed himself too!
On Sunday, we invited my parents, brother, and Gram over for dinner. It was nice and easy considering my mom brought everything and we just threw it on the grill. We were a little early with the hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, and pasta salad but it was all so good! My mom was even kind enough to plant the flowers we bought over the weekend.
Don't they make the house so pretty?!
