An Unplanned Weekend Full of Fun

I truly believe that if you don't make plans the more fun you are likely to have. Friday night, I ended up laying on the couch because I wasn't feeling the greatest............until I got a phone call from my friend, Brandy to come hangout at Mancini's house with her and Mac. I debated it, and decided to go for a little while. Well, that little while turned in to a 2 a.m. dance party. Literally, the four of us danced until 2 in the morning. It was so much fun, so happy I got off the couch!

Saturday came early, and my Gram, Dad, and Mom came over so my Dad could paint our 'purple' room in the basement (it looks so much better now!) My mom, Gram, and I went and did some shopping at DSW, Macys, and Borders. I walked away with the following two books below. We also picked up the giant mirror Derrick and I purchased last week. I will post a picture of it soon ;) It almost didn't fit in my parents' SUV, that's how large it is.

I invited the girls over to the house for some wine time!! Julie brought different types of cheeses and everyone brought different types of wines. We sat outside and had a really good time. We did end up going to Helen's to watch the Mizzou game, lone and behold, Julie and I ended up rocking out to a really bad knock-off Bon Jovi band. Helen's was a really good time and it was nice to get out with just the girls!!
