I made a breakfast casserole that everyone had...I think I really like making breakfast casseroles, I ALWAYS volunteer to make them. Some are better than others. When we got down to Soulard, we had a hard time making it to the hill we always stand on because so many people wanted to see Sophia! She is adorable right now. She even walks on a leash like no other puppy I have ever seen. We saw so many bulldogs, which kind of scared my mom...she forgot how HUGE they get when they are fully grown. After the parade, we all walked around Soulard for a while before heading to O'Fallon for the Superbowl.

I love the Superbowl. I think because of the food, drinks, and the fact that you get to see one team win the championship! I had made McNamera's famous reuben dip, my mom also made a bunch of wonderful appetizers as well ;)It was great to see The Saints take home a winner! It's so awesome that Derrick and I will be able to celebrate with all the fans...because...Derrick and I are going to NEW ORLEANS for MARTI GRAS!!!!!!!! We decided this past Friday night to go on a whim!!! We are leaving Friday night, driving 3/4 of the way, stopping, then driving the rest Saturday morning. I am so excited for a mini-trip with my husband! We thought...you know...let's just do it! We cannot wait. It is going to be CRAZY, esp after their football team has won the Superbowl! I am very excited to experience Marti Gras like none other ;)
