15 Super Foods

According to eatingwell.com, the following are 15 super foods that everyone should take advantage of, and try to incorporate into their daily diet. I have listed each of them below, and also described how I incorporate these...or don't, but should!

1. Yogurt - I love, love, love GREEK yogurt (as you all know!) It is the best! I usually have one every other day, if not every other day.

2. Raisins - When I have raisins in stock, I always add to my morning oatmeal. They are awesome when they are warm and covered in delicious almond butter.

3. Whole Grains - Who doesn't want to eat whole grains?! Bread, pasta, oatmeal!

4. Beans - Black bean burgers ROCK! (Morning Star Spicy Black Bean Burger are a great choice.)

5. Salmon - There is nothing better when you go to a nice restaurant and can get a nice, thick piece of fish - whether it be white fish or salmon.

6. Nuts - I always add sliced almonds to my oatmeal and salads!

7. Chocolate - Worst enemy! I can't stay away.

8. Tomatoes - I like tomatoes, but it isn't the first thing I crave or want when hungry.

9. Apples - Perfect snack if you want a temporary fix to hunger! Had a big delicious red one yesterday for an afternoon snack!

10. Berries - Love them all...blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Perfect for oatmeal, in yogurt or in smoothies!
11. Pomegranates - Not a fan.

12. Bananas - I eat bananas every chance I get! At least one per day.

13. Popcorn - Weird.

14. Green Tea - Earl Gray, Vanilla Chai are all great! In the morning, in the evening!!

15. Wine/Alcohol - thank goodness this is on the list...

Have a great weekend!
