Girls weekend and more!

I spent Friday night with my mom, wine, and a movie (s). My dad and grandmother went home to Pittsburgh to see my grandfather's engraving on his column. My mom and i had a really nice time talking about the wedding, economy, and family while enjoying our favorite...boxed wine! We watched 'Made of Honor' and 'Baby Mama.' Both very entertaining.

Saturday, Kim & the girls came up for a 'girls day' and 'slumber party.' (Anything excites Olivia and Eva Kay) Earlier that day I stopped and got snacks, boxed wine for Kim & I, and capri suns for the girls! When they got here, we went down to the Central West End and I showed the girls where I work. Kim was amazed with the interior design, something we both really love :) Then we went to the Galleria movie theatre and saw 'BOLT!' It was cute...as cute as a kid movie can get I guess.
Afterwards, we went back to our apartment for pizza and snacks! The girls played with Beetle and watched TV. After the girls went to bed Kim and I watched 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2' and loved it! (I really liked the first one too :) In the morning I made pancakes for everyone and sadly had to say good bye to the girls...that's why a lot of Kim and I's conversations revolve around us scheming on how to live right next to each other, or at least in the same neighborhood, or...maybe...the same city?? Overall, the day was fun with them, and fortuanately we get to see them again in 4 days for Thanksgiving! I laid around ALL day on Sunday. I am so lazy. I watched Lipstick Jungle, rented Sex & the City movie, ate 20,000 nilla wafers, and took a nap with my puppy. Derrick finally got home around 730, and we were both in really good moods. The past 4 weekends he has been hunting, so Sunday nights are enjoyable. We usually just talk talk talk. That's something we have never had a problem with...is talking.

Speaking of...Thanksgiving, I cannot wait until Thanksgiving dinner, and thankfully we get to have two! On Thursday morning, Derrick is playing in a Turkey Bowl with my dad and brother, and then we will head to Ste.Gen Friday morning. We are skipping the Oris this year. We both weren't very bummed about it. Maybe next year!

I am so pumped it is only a three day week this week!!! Tonight I am going rock climbing and going for drinks afterwards with work. It's for our team builder! It's going to be a blast :)
