Absolutely superb!

Last night's Christmas party was quite the event. Held at the Chase Park Plaza in the CWE, on the 11th floor in the Zodiac and Starlight rooms. There was a mo-town band and a three string cortet. The food was to die for, except I didn't get to eat the much of it because my tights were so tight around my waist I couldn't tell if I was hungry or not! They had fresh raw salmon, one of my favorites! One of the highlights to Derrick's evening was seeing, meeting, and getting his picture with Aeneas Williams! The program about Saint Vincent was very nice as well. I did regret staying out as late as we did this morning...we left my car at work so I had to go in extra early because Derrick was dropping me off. I took a little nap when I got there along with a big pot of coffee. Overall, the night was great!

TGIF!!! I love the feeling of walking out of work knowing you don't have to go back for two days! I really don't want to do anything tonight :( Can you tell I'm getting older?!?! Julie and I had a long talk today about going out, drinking, and how hard it is because we actually have to get up the next day and be productive. We both agreed that we would rather go out during the week opposed to the weekend because the weekend is so short and we want to enjoy it!!

Tomorrow we are heading to Stu's cabin in good ole Farmington, MO! Derrick gets super pumped about going there because he gets to shoot guns and as he says, "Do manly things." Well, not this time, all the girlfriends are going too!! I'm excited to hang out with Lizvan and Colleen! We are going to take Beetle with us to the cabin so she can run around and be a dog! I may shoot a gun or two, who knows. But tonight I plan on staying in and hopefully convincing Derrick to go to our new favority Mexican restuarant with really huge margaritas!
