Friday night was awesome! Derrick and I got off work (after a long, long day at work) hung around the apt for awhile and then went to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Shrewsbury...had some great food and a big and tall margarita! We decided to stay in because nothing was really going on and we had gone out Thursday night. We watched Grey's and The Office from the night before and fell a sleep by 10:30! It was wonderful!
Saturday morning, we bummed around, went to the grocery store and then headed to Stu's cabin in Farmington, MO. I completely understand why Derrick has ALWAYS loved going to this place! It was a great time :) It was me, Derrick, Curt, Liz, Charlie, Stu, Colleen, and Bo, and how could I forget Flynn! I shot Derrick's pistol for the first time. Interesting, scared me a little, but I needed to do it to see how it feels, etc. The food was great (I made a taco salad) and the drinking games were a blast, like always! Liz and I busted out some moves without music, and that wasn't the first time, lol...ha ha ha. This cabin had the original room still left from before the turn of the century! Beautiful stonework. Everyone passed out about 1am...the overly strong wind kept waking me up throughout the night, :( Thankfully I had my puppy and fiance next to me to keep me safe and not scared!!! I thought the roof was going to blow off a couple times!
Sunday morning we headed back to STL...showered the second we walked in the apt, gave Beetle a bath!...she was a little sticky from playing like a wild woman! We then headed to my parents' house for dinner & football & laundry. Another long week a head of me...Christmas shopping...YUCK!
