Today, when I was getting ready for work in the bathroom, I was listening to the TV in the other room...the TODAY show was on. There was a story that really made me think. It was about a 14-year old girl who had, had health issues since she was little. She was in the hospital on her death bed while her mother stood by waiting for her to pretty much, die. (Very sad story.) On the hospital camera there is an image of a light that appears to look like an angel. In one hour, the girl started to recover that the doctors didn't think was possible.
This story made me think...do angels exist?
Unfortunately, I have never had an experience with an angel, ghost, etc. However, I do believe in angels and another life. My grandmother always says that she's coming back as a 'Smith' dog. My family loves their dogs, and are soooo good to them! Stories like the TODAY show make you think about things you don't normally think about. That story made me have more hope than I usually have. Like Kim was telling the girls over the weekend when talking about Santa Claus...'You just have to BELIEVE and he will come!' I guess all you have to do is BELIEVE and maybe you'll have an angel by your side.
This afternoon, my mom and Gram came down to the CWE to check out my work and have lunch. We had an amazing lunch at Liluma. Spinach pear salad and Talipia...umm umm umm good!
Tonight I believe I'm headed to the Jive n Wail in Maplewood! Our friends Bobby and Amy are coming to visit us at our apartment first then we will head over there, hopefully! I love, LOVE, love piano bars :)
