For as many years as I can remember, Christmas Eve has always had a certain feeling...Christmas is such an awesome holiday to be around family. I remember believing in Santa, and getting so excited I couldn't even sleep. It's nice being around Olivia and Eva because I guess I'm kind of living the 'magic' through them in a sense.
Last night, Derrick and I went out with our good friends, Amy and Bobby. Bobby now lives in Florida, and Amy was down in Cape for her last semester so we never get to see them! We had a couple drinks at our apartment and then went to Bar Louie in the CWE. We went to the Jive n Wail afterwards, but we got there a little late... :( so we went to another place I couldn't even tell you the name of it. I have to say that I was very excited to go to Bar Louie due to the fact that a very good friend was there. Pat Walsh, who I haven't seen in probably 5 years was in town from LA! Pat and I worked at Dierbergs together for a couple years and then he moved to NY and now he is settled in California. He is doing extremely well...he's been writing for the TV show, When It's Sunny In Philadelphia and if I understood correctly, just sold his new show to FOX! Pat is great and I'm so happy I got to see him :) Pat is the one in the green and the other guy is Mike...oh Mike....
I had a great time last night!! The best part about it is that I didn't have to get up to go to work...Beetle and I slept til 11! It was awesome! And...I don't have to go back to work until Tuesday!
