~Tis the season for Christmas parties~

To begin, I have never won anything in my life. Literally. I'm not that lucky person who's name gets drawn in every raffle drawing...except for this one. Since I had shopped for wedding dresses at David's Bridal, I apparently got put into a drawing for a Mary Kay makeup event. (Ps...I don't like Mary Kay, and I don't like nor ever wear much makeup...) So I brought four of my bridesmaids plus a baby to this thing. I held Jackson for most of the time, so my lovely maid of honor applied most of the makeup and moisturizer for me :) It was pretty funny! Jackson loved, he was so good, just hanging out with all the ladies for the afternoon.

Friday night was pretty simple. Derrick and I headed over to a friend's house for our first Christmas party of the season. We stayed there for a while and then headed to the Tin Can in South City where we live. Then came Saturday night...Lo, Liz, and myself got ready at our apartment and the guys went over a little before us. This Christmas party was at Cheese and Nicole's apartment in the Central West End. It was fun, rather interesting, but way to much drama for me. The older I get, I keep myself out of that stupid girl stuff. For one, I have a life, and I don't need to focus on others for entertainment. It's really that simple. However, the party was enjoyable, Lo and I had a lot of fun!
Derrick and Lo have a special love for one another...I don't know what they were doing...
One of my best guy friends...DAN THE MAN! Aka: Happy Dan!
This is Lo and I's signature pose. We do this often! However, the best day of the weekend was Sunday (like always!) Liz and Charlie came over and we went to Uncle Bill's for breakfast/lunch :) And it was good! Then we came back to the apartment and Liz and I took a 3 hour nap together on the family room floor while Derrick and Charlie watched football. It was the best nap ever! Derrick had put a bunch of stuff in the crockpot, so we enjoyed that for dinner. Then we headed to Target for some shopping. Overall, the weekend was a lot of fun~

This week is jammed packed. It's gonna be a long one!

Happy Holidays!
