Last night was quite the event at the club. We had a cocktail party upstairs for the freshman legislators of MO. Liluma from across came over and set up two bars and had passed appetizers and desserts...the chocolate torte was amazing. Everyone left around 10:30, however NOT us! I didn't make it home until after 3am :) I miss the days of partying until the early hours of the morning, but last night I got a little taste of what life used to be like!! Don't get me wrong...I am in love with my life now.

Anyway~ tonight is the Christmas party at our apartment. I've done a lot of preparing for this event. I made THREE different kinds of cookies! I'm rather proud of myself...Derrick kept sneaking them...I would ask him to help with something and he would say, "I'll do it for a cookie" and I said FINE! only one though :)
I'm ready for some rest this weekend in Ste.Gen. I know it's a grarantee when I go there that I will come home well rested and not hungry. All I do is eat when I'm there, I can't help it, Sandy makes all kinds of good food. And this weekend we get to open presents!!!
