......Sushi......

This weekend was a fun fiasco. Friday whenever I got off work, I headed to Clayton to meet Derrick and his work friends for drinks at Meso. We quickly came home, changed, and headed up to 'The Corner Bar' off 270 to celebrate Maria's 23rd birthday! I have to say that everyone had a great time! Julie and Derrick got into their flying hand conversations which are always hilarious.

On Saturday, we woke up around 10ish, made coffee, and then I gave Beetle a bath, which she hates. However, I just love when she gets out with the towel over her head ;) When I finally got my car back, I went and picked Julie up to look at bridesmaid dresses...of course, we had to stop at Starbucks first! Thankfully, we had a lot of luck at the bridal shoppe, and we both really liked what we found. Everything is really coming together.



Saturday morning, I woke up craving sushi so I said to Derrick, let's get sushi tonight and he agreed immediately! I then invited Liz and Charlie, and then Curt and Amy ended up coming as well! More the merrier! We went to the Drunken Fish in the CWE and had a great table upstairs with awesome sushi! After wards, we walked down to Sub Zero for drinks...but, Derrick and I went home earlier than ususal. I was very tired from the night before.

Sunday was another Sunday spent out in O'Fallon. However, this Sunday was extra special because the Steelers were in the playoffs!!! Once again, another VICTORY! We have one more game to go next Sunday and if we win that, here we come superbowl! My mom made white chicken chili with bread bowls, and buffalo wing chicken dip...all excellent. Derrick ended up staying home so on my way home I called to see if he wanted to go to Ted Drews, so I picked him up and we went and got icecream :) Now we are getting all caught up on BIG LOVE because the new season starts next Sunday and I can't wait!
