1) It's now or never.
2) It's early enough in my career, that I can make the time.
3) I really miss sitting at Starbucks and studying.
I'll be starting mid-August. Directly after the wedding and vacation, and right in the starting process of hopefully buying a house. It's going to be a busy time, but that's the way I like it, and prefer it. It will take me 2-3, depending on the schedule I decide to take on. I'll be working towards my MBA, possibly focusing on management and leadership. Overall, I am excited to start something new, but also, to add another degree! I think I'll feel a great deal of accomplishment when I have my MBA.

I understand that I am marrying a hunter/outdoorsman. When we were first starting our relationship, I didn't understand that during hunting season why Derrick had to go to Ste.Gen every weekend the months of October & November for deer season. I remember Sandy telling me, when the guys go hunting we do our own thing, and that someday I would learn to appreciate it and enjoy your 'you' time. Well, three years later I completely understand what we meant and I have completely adapted to hunting season, whether it's deer, turkey, whatever!! Last weekend Derrick went to Ste.Gen to turkey hunt, and that is what he is doing this weekend as well. Don't take this the wrong way, I love my fiance :) however, I am not AT ALL opposed to hunting season!! I like to do things by myself, with friends, etc. My weekends have been rather relaxing while Derrick is gone. (I also save a lot of money!) This weekend, for me, is all about work. I stayed in Friday night, because I had a work event today at the Science Ctr. I took full advantage of laying on the couch, having myself a couple glasses of white wine, watching BrideWars, and going to bed early. Tonight I plan on doing the exact same, except I'm watching Slumdog Millionaire! I have another event tomorrow at work, so I want to feel great and enjoy it. We are really gearing up for the big events at the club in May starting on the 7th, going through the 17th! I am excited about the championship coming up, but more excited for it to be over with, because I have soooo many FUN events in my personal life after May 17th! However, thanks to my awesome boss, we pretty much get to move into the Chase Park Plaza for a week and half since we are going to be working around the clock!
