We Moved!!!

First and foremost, thank you to Mom and Dad Smith, Stu Stegman, Chris Wilson, Danny Clark, and Curt Jenkerson. Everyone did an amazing job helping us move, paint, clean, and everything else! My mom cleaned her tail off for us. We got everything moved in on Saturday, which was great because it was all done in ONE day. On Friday night, my parents came down, painted our kitchen for us, Julie, Lo, and Eric stopped by and enjoyed a few beers with all of us! So far, everyone has loved the house!!! I am so excited to finally be moved in and out of our one-bedroom apartment!

Saturday was a wonderful day for moving. It was probably the best day of the summer so far. (Sadly, the summer is almost over.) It wasn't hot or humid. My mom made an entire crock-pot of pulled pork, which everyone ate, especially the boys in between every trip from the apartment to the house. As of now, all of the wedding presents are in one of the bedrooms just sitting there waiting for me to tackle them. I just need to go in there and get it done, make one trip to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and then put everything away.

Our house is beautiful though. I have discovered that the mornings are my favorite so far. The sun hits the front of the house in the morning so the sunshine comes through the windows perfectly. We also open the front door and the door to the backyard so we can hear the birds...I just love it!!! I am so excited to finally be in our house!
