*Labor Day Weekend*

Labor Day weekend was really fun this year. Anytime I know there is a 3-day weekend just makes everything that much better! On Friday, I headed out west to O'Fallon to hang out with my parents and go shopping with my mom Saturday morning. I found some great deals at New York and Company ;)
I didn't really know what to expect for Saturday night. Derrick went on a bachelor party so I decided to meet up with Matt & Kim downtown after the Mizzou game. I met up with them for a short time at Lucas Park (P.S. I've always wanted to go there, NOT impressed.) After we left, we walked about (what felt like) 10 miles to their hotel and had a couple drinks. Matt didn't feel like going anywhere so Kim and I went down to Morgan Street and did a little dancing! It was really fun, and totally random ;) literally.
Kim ended up spending the night with me, and Matt coming over the next morning. (Poor Derrick was sleeping on our wood floors...ha...but, hey...we got home first, I actually think we only beat him by a couple of minutes.) The four of us headed to Ste.Gen for a BBQ and to hang out with the family. I love a good Labor Day BBQ. Sandy made home-made icecream, which was really good, the icecream lover that I am! We also celebrated Sandy and Olivia's birthdays. Olivia was very excited about her present from Mike and Sandy - an American Girl doll. She was like that little kid on the commerical that ran on TV last Christmas, when he's opening his presents...just screaming from excitement and not knowing what to do. It was pretty histerical.
Eva Kay...just looking so cute as always!
Lincoln and Jonny are so funny with each other. They have stare downs!

Olivia was very excited, as you can see. Typical 8-year-old.
