This weekend was a blast, I wish it wouldn't have ended. Friday night started off right with Julie & Eric at Cafe Mochi in South City. It is this little tiny sushi place that has the best happy hour from 5:30-6:30 half off drinks and sushi! I rode with Julie & Eric there, and Derrick met us, and had a really good time and a new sushi roll that was rolled in steak, and it was delicious!
After sushi, we knew we wanted to do something, so we headed to a little bar right by Derrick and I's house, called Danno's. It was very special and such a treat!!! ha ha ha...
Julie and I danced until we couldn't dance anymore!!! Some other friends also joined us there too :)
Saturday morning I headed to the gym to squeeze in a workout, went grocery shopping and came home to a man getting all of the tree roots underground untangled in our drains :( Lately we had been having issues with water in our laundry room, but now everything is fixed!!!
Derrick and I hurried to get a crock pot full of hot 5-bean salad ready, and I made stuffed mushrooms! My mom, dad, gram, and aunt Jayne were coming for dinner! Derrick grilled BBQ chicken, I made salad, my mushrooms, and bean salad. Everyone had such a fun night sitting around talking about my grandparents lake house and all the memories we all have.
The doggies also had a great time. I bought them all matching Valentines bandannas!! They are adorable. Esp. little Sophie because her's is so small. However, she is growing, and getting cuter and cuter by the day!

Sunday was filled with sleeping in, a short workout, TV, movies, and laying around!
