Broadway Oyster Bar!

I started my weekend off by taking a 1/2 day on Friday because I had a lot to do before the weekend truly began. I did get in 8 miles, cleaned my house, finished laundry, and ran some errands. It was beautiful outside and it was totally worth it, taking a half day of work!

I was really looking forward to Friday because Derrick and I were having a DATE NIGHT! I didn't see him a lot last week, so we decided to take the night and hang out and go somewhere we'd never been, and somewhere we'd been wanting to go! We ended up going to the Broadway Oyster Bar downtown and loving it :)

They have great food, and it was pretty comparable to New Orleans authentic spicy food. We had oysters, crawfish, fried alligator, and the crawfish etouffee, which was very good, and very spicy. We shared everything, and that worked out well. Afterwards, we gave up our table to some guys that needed an add-on, and went and sat up at the open air bar. It's so nice that the weather is starting to get warm again - to be able to do this stuff. We kept it an early night, went home, and watched a little basketball. I can't wait to go back to the Oyster Bar when the weather is even nicer to sit on the patio!
