It was a sad but nice weekend. Derrick's grandmother's funeral was so nice and very comforting.
We got to see all the kids which we had not seen in a while. Olivia and Eva Kay are growing up but still so cute. Lincoln is walking everywhere and loving it! Mindy's little boy Jonathan has the cutest smile you have ever seen in your entire life! He is such a great baby too. It was really nice to see everyone. Derrick and I left Friday afternoon and headed to Ste.Gen. Saturday morning, Matt & Derrick went hunting so I rode down to Dexter with Kim and the girls. We had some really good talks. We've become really close, which is awesome because she is my matron of honor!! (I'm really excited about that :) We got to Dexter, showered and got ready for the visitation. After that we all went back were starving. Many of Sandy's neighbors and women she works with brought so much food over, so we took it with us to Dexter.
Overall, the funeral and weekend were very nice.
I feel like it all never stops. Every weekend there is something, and then another something. This weekend Kim and the girls are coming up for a sleep over at our apartment! Then Thanksgiving, which will be a little different, considering my grandfather will not be there, nor Derrick's grandmother as well. However, the holidays are going to be so much fun. I love all the parties :) Derrick and my parents are going to Pittsburgh after Christmas; that will be a nice get-a-way.
Have a great Monday...and a good rest of the week :)

I just lost my grandfather in April, so I understand how difficult of a time it is. It's always nice knowing people are thinking about you in those times. And you are right... the holidays will be different this year, but all of our lost ones will be there in spirit! Hope all is well.
Kim
