Weather Changes Everything!

It's amazing once the weather changes, you want to do different things...be outside, get drinks after work, etc. I've realized especially this year for some reason that the winter months can really bring you down a bit! Not in a super bad way, it's just when the weather's nice, I, at least feel so much more motivated to get things done! I love getting ready for work when the weather is nice because it is so much less clothes to put on and pick out! I also LOVE when the weather is warm because the Central West End is CRAZY~ I mean for lunch, dinner, and night life! At lunch everyone is sitting outside, walking everywhere, walking their dogs, and working out. I love breaking out all of my open toed shoes, Capri's, and little sweaters, and all the fun summer jewelry too!

THE GEORGE EXPERIENCE

Before you start reading this, don't get excited. IT WASN'T MY GEORGE EXPERIENCE. Of course, it was Derrick :( (The one person who doesn't really care.) Anyway, it's actually a pretty cool story. Yesterday, George and his film crew were filming in Derrick's conference room at work in Clayton! Derrick's company owns the building, so DHR alone takes up 3 floors. Derrick is on the 3rd floor and George was filming on the 10th. Derrick was called up to the 10th floor yesterday to take care of some business and what do you know...all George's stuff was in the room Derrick was in, and he didn't even know it! As Derrick was talking to this guy he works with, George just walked in! Derrick said immediatly that George starting talking to him, asking him what he did here, etc. The way Derrick described this part is funny: Derrick was sitting in this chair and George was kind of changing bits and pieces of his clothes. George said to Derrick, "Hey man, can i get my shirt?" Derrick was sitting on George's shirt. All in all, Derrick said he was VERY friendly, and very small. (Which I have heard that he is smaller in person.) Derrick also heard George and some guys talking about the 'vodka bar' and how they might go. After Derrick told me that I was set on going to SubZero. So we did, Derrick, my boss, and another chess club employee went to SubZero, enjoyed some drinks and dinner...I had a lamb burger...can't beat it!

Anyway - that's the scoop. I'm still on the George hunt!
Stay Sunny Saint Louis.

I loved reading your George story! My friend EJ ran into him at Subzero last week (she said he was little,too)... I heard he has been a regular! If I were you I'd stake it out and talk your boss into letting you work from there! haha, just a thought!

I go back to work April 6th, so I get two and a half more weeks of purely babytime... and I am going to love every minute of it!

Enjoy your week, too!
